Miners Day is a great way to wrap up summer with live music in the park, courtesy of Mountain Town Music. Bring a blanket, camp out on the City Park hillside and enjoy the vibes. There will be live music throughout most of the afternoon during the Miners Day celebration. 

2026 MINERS DAY BAND SCHEDULE

11:45am-2:00pm: Brazuca Band

Brazuca Band is a fusion group led by Brazilian musician Diego Campos, blending the sounds of Brazil and the USA into an infectious mix of reggae, samba, rock, and funk. Featuring a dynamic horn section, driving percussion, and a soulful rhythm section, Brazuca Band delivers an energetic live experience that gets crowds on their feet every time.

2:45pm-4:00pm: Tony Holiday

Tony Holiday is a Memphis-rooted soul blues artist whose music weaves together Delta blues, North Mississippi hill country sounds, and juke joint grooves into something that feels both timeless and alive. Mentored by legends like Charlie Musselwhite and Bobby Rush and backed by a tight-knit collective of world-class musicians, Tony has a rare gift for drawing people together, and that energy is felt the moment he takes the stage.
